      Different Sleeping Locations

I was just wondering if sleeping in an entirely different location or area would heighten your awareness and increase the chances of an LD. I haven't tried it yet, and it's more of just a thought really...but for me at least anyways...when i'm sleeping on the couch or something, i'm usually more 'aware' of myself and waking up probably 4-5 times a night, rather than my usual 3...if anyone's tried this, do you know if it works?

Try sleeping outside. When I lived on Maui I slept outside most days and it's usually a longer, lighter sleep as opposed to the all-too-common 6 hour deep sleeps that many get. When I sleep outisde I wake several times every night, making dream call easier and probably closing your eyes everytime you wake and thinking lucid thoughts would work.

hm...definately worth a shot i suppose. I guess i'd better do that sooner rather than later....fall and winter up here might be a little too cold for that.

I was thinking about this too, and it sounds like a good idea. I might try to sleep in my backyard in a tent.

Although it all might go very wrong.. I'll wake up in the middle of the night and think it's a dream because I'm not in my familiar bed. So then I'll jump up, trying to fly, and the whole tent will come crashing down on my head.

I recently went to visit family and had a whole ton of lucid dreams while I was sleeping on their couch and outside...coincidentally, my brother's living in Maui...

When I take a nap and fall asleep on the couch in the summer, 99.9% of the time I go lucid! Try sleeping on the couch and doing a WILD. It may work for you!
