Yes, but you can do it in more ways. You can RC at random, hoping randomly to do so in a dream, or you could just train yourself do do an RC everytime something wierd happens. From my viewpoint, the last one is the effective one. You just don't randomly do RC's in dreams (at least i don't). |

I used to do RCs randomly and it worked (but only because I was more focused on LDing - I don't RC in my dreams), but I found that doing them every 15 minutes was too annoying. Now, I think I'm just going to do them when I find that something weird happens. This sounds like a good technique, but I don't think I could stick to it. |

It's easy to make habits. Persitance is all you need. When I was younger, there was this one step on the stairs going to the basement at my house. We declared that step cursed. Now I have a habit of skipping that step. I haven't stepped on it in several years. |
