Post Multi-Aspect Induced Lucid Dream (MAILD)

I have been trying all sorts of things and I think I was most sucessful last night. I have read up on WILD, MILD, VILD, SILD, FILD, WBTB, OBE and FA's and tried a lot of things and I think a fusion of the important aspects of these things were in need.
It would appear that every direct female (sister, mother, grandmother, ect) on my mom's side of the family is a natural LD'er...no one else except for them can naturally LD so I talked to my mother and sister and ask them what they do. From what I heard they take aspects from VILDs, WILDs, SILDs and occasionally WBTB alot

here are the steps I did that they do and it seemed to work, note this works best if you have an .mp3 or CD player of some sort, it would be better if you have a 3rd gen Ipod Nano, Zune or Ipod Video...and at least sort of tired

      1) Make sure you have your bed made up so that you are comfortable, while you do these imagine yourself in the bed, how it feels, what the music sounds like, what the sheets smell like (use Febreeze if you have it ), what you see in your mind and what the toothpaste aftertaste tastes like.
      2) I would use bud-earphones like the ones that come w/ the Ipod so you can turn over to your side if you need to without being uncomfortable
      3) from VILD: Put a slow-soft song on repeat or listen to a spec artist of a spec genre and put it on all-repeat instead of one-repeat
      4) You can slightly mouth the words but that takes to much IMO because you have to concentrate on the song then moving your mouth, too hard
      5) The songs I listen to make me think of things, so recreate your dream area, I will put my place I always go to as a "Demo Dream" you dont have to use it
      6) Close your eyes and let yourself melt into the dream, keep all your senses in mind and DO NOT THINK OF DREAMING! a dream is like a non-feral stray cat, if you do not pay attention to it and do slight things it will come towards you, if you scream at it then it will 1) run 2) get its family to evicerate you
      7) Pulling steps from 4 feel yourself in the dream, I would be on my stomach, it works the best for me and have your eyes closed
      8) Keep 6 and 7 in mind but keep your mind clutter free, make sure to sort of listen to the beat of the song to keep yourself from going unconcious but you will almost automatically pull out of listening as your subconcious mind switches over

      Notes:
-I try to keep to these genres of song:
      Instrumental
      Vocal
      Inspirational (church/Christian songs)
      Classic Rock
if you have something you like to listen to then use that if it works
-If you need to scratch/swallow dont think, just do it and go back to your relaxed form
-I like to spray my bed w/ Febreeze because the smell of your room might be so familiar you become numb to the smell
-I dont sleep w/ any jewelry or any other things of that matter, if it doesn't bother you then you dont need to take it off
-If you can't stand using music then disregard it, try to concentrate on something else, maybe more on the VILD

      Demo Dream:
The area I am in is a long stretch of avenue near my neighborhood (dont put TOO much emphasis, just revise as you go) There are a few buildings on one side of the street: A boston market, a VFW post, a GMC dealership, a 7-11, and an AMCO hardware shop. On the other side is a grave yard, lined gray tomstones seem to go on for miles in even rows. The sky i use is one about to rain, white with some bright light coming out of nowhere. It smells like fresh grass from the graveyard w/ the hint of rust from the AMCO and the roasted chicken from the Boston Market. Feel the asphalt from underneath and the wind from a passing car (try to make the cars bright colors, it keeps my attention). At this point I will begin to think of a scenario, go back if you feel a sense slipping away, like other VILD tutorials say, dont try to make it perfect...
First thing I do is summon my DG, a purple cat with a Hekler&Koch 227 then I get my favorite weapon, the desert eagle.
      "Hey why are you purple?"
      "Why are you white?"
"Because that is normal, being purple isn't!"
"Being purple is normal, stupid human, being white is not, snowflake!"
"Fine, we are both wierd, now what?"
"Do what Artie from Howard Stern says!"
      "What?!"
(my dad loves Howard Stern, i can't believe i remember this...)
"He says: Lets bang some whores!"
      "Whatever, where do we start?"
      "How about summoning a redhead"
(I fail and out comes some terrorist w/ an ak-74u)
"Oh look what you did penis-breath!"
      "Shit, kill it!"
      (gunfire)
"Ha! You see white boy, i am far superior to you"

That is how my dreams usually go for some reason, no matter if they are LD, semi-LD or non-LD

Post any thing like "good job, will try" or "it doesn't work penis wrinkle!" whatever, as long as you give it a try...will do it again tonight and revise upon it to let you know on any thing else

      Great analogy!

MAILD appears to be a very doable technique and I'll have to give it a try!

      Thanks for sharing!

One thing about it though is that you have to remember to RC...thats my problem, keep forgetting and it would seem like my dreams are sort of resemblant of video games so I think they are plausible...when it isn't

      UPDATE:
I re read and the reason I said Ipod Vids or a Zune is because if you have music videos or something those work to help you create visuals...and you are using 3 sences...sound (listening), sight (watching) and touch (holding it so you can see it) makes you more tired than just listening...just a suggestion, not everyone has video .mp3 players, music vids or even like listening to music...

If you need to cough, scratch or take off your Ipod for any reason go ahead and do it...if your tired it will make you a little more tired, better than straining against it, make it natural

will improve on it tonight again, just making sure it is perfect
