So every night, I turn on an alarm clock. Just before I go to bed, I set the time for 5-5 1/2 hours after I plan to fall asleep. Then I wake up in the morning either have turned off the alarm, or have slept through it. |

Try autosuggestion. Say to yourself that you will wake up after approximately 5 hours. |

Success comes to those who are not afraid of failing.
Yep, either put it out of reach or practice waking up without an alarm. The latter tends to be a better practice in any case. |

Drink a real lot of water before bed, you'll get up. |

I have had this problem too. |

this happens to me all the time. Like it's already been mentioned, I think autosuggestion is the best idea, but if you have it set to radio rather than buzzer that might be a problem. It was for me at least, because sometimes the stations get all fuzzy and dont make noise, even though a few hours earlier they were working fine. But I think that was just a problem of where my alarm clock was or something. |

Actualy, my buzzer is either Minimum wage by They Might be Giants, or the Captian Planet theme song. They are both plenty loud. But I think I'll switch to a buzzer. Because I think you might be on to somthing with the buzzer. Maybe it interputs better, as were the music might be obsorbed into the dream. |
