Lightbulb FILD.. A little bit of help needed =)

ok guys, just 2 quick questions concerning FILD's

      1. How do you guys keep concentrated on moving your fingers becuase i lose concentration on that as pect pretty easily :S

      2. I think too much about how i will know if i am in a dream so i non-intentionally keep myself awake because even when concentrating on my fingers, im wondering when the hell i should do a RC to see if im in a dream or reality.

any helpful responses would be much appreciated

      cheers xD

      1. Try making it happen sort of in zombie mode. Start visualizing your dream while FILDing, most of the time that works for me.

      2. Mostly you'll just appear in the dream and know. Sort of like

      Lying in bed,

      and then

in a huge field full of rubik's cube and computers,

you'll probably think, "whats going on, I was just in my bed... ohhhhh"

Well in the tutorial I read you should move your fingers for 30 seconds of moving your fingers and then do a RC. If that one fails then wait for two minute and start moving your fingers again, after 30 seconds do another RC. Do it for another time and if the third time fails then just go to bed regularly and try again some other night.

For me, whenever I do a FILD (after just waking up), I experience the SP sensations (usually falling or spinning, for me) after just 10-20 seconds.

Then I fall right into a dream scene - no need for a reality check since I'm immediately aware that I'm dreaming and no longer in my bed

Also its important (I think) not to actually move your fingers at all but just tense the muscles as if you were planning on moving them. Actually moving my fingers just gets me further away from actually sleeping/dreaming.

Well, I knew that I was in a dream because I saw flashes and then I heard a really loud noise go past my ear and then when that was over I did a RC and boom i'm in a dream.
