Getting close but not close enough

The point is that it's not entirely my fault!

Last night I tried a WILD (I think) by just lying still and attempting to enter a completely oblivious state, go through SP and start a lucid. Well twice I felt SP setting in—it wasn't exactly tingling or heaviness or anything that I've heard seems "as if it would kill you", it was just spinning around out of my body, so I just tried to spin into a scene. Then I hear voices outside my door. So I tried it again, almost entered SP, and then I heard people talking outside my door again, and my cat.

So I just changed positions and went to sleep intending to attempt a DEILD later. When I woke up, I was not fully aware of what I was doing or what I should do, and minutes after being awake I caught myself picking my nose again. >_O

Not to mention my dream recall has been going down fast...

Any tips? Maybe I should try sleeping in the basement >_>
If there really is no spoon...then how am I to eat my fruitloops?!!?

As noise seems to be distracting you.. perhaps try wearing earplugs.

What time are you trying to WILD? Perhaps try WTBT+WILD that way if you try getting up around 3-4am it should be quiet enough for you
