      Question Choline + triptophan

Has sense to assume choline + triptophan before going to bed in order to dream lucid being 2 various bases?

      Or 5HTP + galantamine?

You seem to be exploring means to produce serotonin and thus enhance the vividness of your dreams.

I'm familiar with the combo of vitamin B6 and triptophan (B6 acts on triptophan to produce serotonin in the brain).

5-HTP is another good aid in itself and has been combined with galantamine and choline.. no recommendation here though as the chemist/biochemist in me is a bit wary of this cocktail (I don't think it's dangerous, I just find B6/Triptophan to be plenty effective by themselves).

I wouldn't combine B6, triptophan and 5-HTP all together, as B6 and 5-HTP can act to produce serotonin in the digestive system, and serontonin produced outside the brain can't and won't get into the brain as the blood/brain barrier won't let serontonin in. Any serotonin in the brain is produced in the brain.

My advice on this would be to start simple with B6 & triptophan, and don't go overboard trying every combination somebody suggests. Be very discerning in the advice you take because you're putting these things in your body, and there's as much or more bad advice out there as there is good advice.

I've honesty not really looked at the effects of various components on the REM aspects of sleep, just on serotonin. Perhaps someone else might be more knowledgable than myself.
