is there any ways to combine methods?

hey, i am pretty new to lucid dreaming and i started a dream journal and i think im on the rite path. i do RC frequently during the day and i have extensively researched LD.

anyways i have been trying various lucid dreaming methods for the past couple nites and all have failed. i will go to bed thinking of one method and for the past two nites i have ended up using atleast three methods out of pure frustration, hopping from one to another hoping that one will work and they havnt.

i was wondering if there is a super method that combines several method together.

      thanks,

To be honest, I think what method you use (or even multiple methods) depends on the person. I think you should just keep experiementing, preferably with 1 per night before you find one that works. Once you find a method that works for you, you can always try tinkering with it to make it better.

I assume you're talking about WILD methods btw. If so, keep in mind that you don't really need to reach the dream to know what works for you. Just reaching SP is enough. Once that happens, the next step into the dream is easy once you learn to keep yourself calm through SP

I also don't really believe that it matters if you switch between methods since all that really matters is you're keeping your mind conscious into sleep. So doing whatever to keep your mind occupied is enough.

I know that doesn't really answer your question, but I hope it helps anyway

I don't think there is a super method but it doesn't stop you from using as many methods at one time as like.

Too many methods at once will likely distract you from whatever you're doing. I think it would be especially difficult to do an overly complicated WILD.

I think simple is best. Find what registers best with you... sight, sound, touch? Then try techniques around whatever you are most adept at.

And if you don't know, spend a week or a few days on one technique just to see if it's good for you.
I am posting on topic elsewhere for the most part.

My DJ here at DVs, Realized Aspiration only contains old dreams. I'll be around for the occasional chat, and some unfinished/unstarted RPs.

And you, yeah you, with the ice cream hands. You, yeah you, are my friend. ~ Still my mentor, and an awesome guy.

If Ur using DILD methods or non physical methods...they all pretty much work during WBTB. Because during WBTB when U stay up for about an hour Ur mind is very open to accept almost anything U put Ur mind to. But for it to work well...U can't be doing other things not related to lucid dreaming. U also mentioned that U just started to practise lucid dreaming, that could be the reason Y those methods dosen't work....yet. Ur mind is simply still new to the idea of what lucid dreaming is. It took me a couple of months before I had my first lucid dream.
