      Failed WILD, which led me to a "time-delayed" SP and to a LD! WHAT HAPPENED?! PLEASE HELP!!

      Tonight I had a very strange experience!
      I tried to do a WILD which failed (I haven't had success with WILD yet). Then I tried to get back to sleep normally which was pretty hard because I was too awake (took me about an hour).
      Suddenly I found myself going through SP (the first time for me...never had such a weird sensation! ) and I entered a Lucid Dream.

      WTF, was this???

      As some of you might have read I posted something similar yesterday (as I noticed now in the wrong forum (General Discussion)) without answers and so I made this new post here.

      To repeat:
      Yesterday nearly the same thing happened to me!
      Failed WILD-->then I couldn't sleep--> and suddenly I found myself in my bed, still awake but seeing pictures and hearing sounds and I knew I was about to fall asleep. But as I realized this and so logically thought about it I "woke up" (and confirmed this with a RC). The same night exactly the same thing happened another time!

      As I knew this tonight I spend a lot of time (after my WILD failed) telling myself that this would happen again but that this time I would enter a Lucid Dream...probably this helped

      How should I call this or how is this called?? It was kind of a time-delayed WILD ...

      Anyway, can anyone PLEASE help me!?!? Has anyone experienced the same thing?
      I have never read about something similar but I'm not that much of an expert...
      I'd really thank you for some explenation!!!

      its just a normal WILD.

      On your attempt at WILDing you were concentrating too hard (everyone does it), you were in the wrong 'frame of mind' for sleeping. But when you decided to go to sleep, wilding was probably still somewhat on your mind, and since this time you actually wanted to go to sleep, you had a succesful WILD.

      You just need to be calm, and because you were, you entered a lucid.

      Great to know I did my first WILD and even better to know that even when my next WILD "fails" I still have another possibility to enter it. That will cheer me up quite a lot the next time I spend one hour in bed trying to sleep because my WILD failed...used to set me up so much!

      Can't wait to get to bed and try it again!

      yeah my first WILD was accidental also, every time i try i cant fall alseep :/.

      Accidental WILDs are just as welcome as planned ones. Enjoy them however you can get them

      You're so right!! Had another accidental WILD yesterday! Now I just have to lern to make them last longer...I always wake up or loose lucidity way too fast!
      But hey, I had 2 WILDs in 2 consecutive nights! WHAT AM I COMPLAINING ABOUT???
