How long does it take to get a WILD?

I've managed to do a WILD once, in the morning and that was a while ago. I've tried maybe once or twice since then and I simply gave up because i felt like it wasnt going to work and that it was taking to long.

Anyway i've wondering how long does it usually take for you/someone to do a WILD or even to just get that surge of energy through your body. What about during the night and the morning? I just dont want to be trying for 2 hours+

and uh...ummm.....well i forgot what else i was going to ask, but if i remember i'll post it later.

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard

Result with the WILD vary's from person to person. Before joining the DV i've had success with them, unintentionally...I haven't had one since joining DV. But keep your hopes up, they're pretty crazy.

Time required to enter WILD varies greatly.

Sometimes I find myself entering WILD after 10 minutes, usually it takes about40-60 min.

rarely I take B6, and fall asleep, just to wake up after 80 min and have a WILD

If you wake up during the night, say to roll over, find your pillow, go to the loo, write in your dream diary or whatever... how long does it take to go back to sleep? That's how long it takes to do a WILD - fall asleep, but dont loose consciousness.

I don't know about the others, but for me, it usually takes around 20 minutes. More than that and I will not enter any kind of sleep, less than that and I will fall into a non-lucid state.

For me, counting the time makes it impossible. If I jsut relax and not worry about it, it seems to come. I posted that I havent had WILDs since joining but I realized I have, I just never planned them. Its always when Im doig a WBTB and I just dont lose awareness. I had at least 5 WILD's this morning.

yeah.. many times you have them spontaneously, I know i do. Just let go, and try not to let your mind drift everywhere.

I can't fall asleep until I lose track of time, so I wouldn't know. Which would mean this post is completely useless, isn't it?

Ive had one almost there WILD/OBE. It was the very first time i ever tried it. I had experienced an OBE some nights before, and was all up in the sky about what i had experienced. I tried finding some books i could read about it in. In one book i found a person that could do it consciously any time he liked to. All he had to do was to lie down and keep repeating "Now get out my mind" over and over again. And guess what i did
So after lying there for about 30 min i guess. This wild surges that i later have found out to be harmless and normal dream paralyses flooded me with huge curves!! This was the first time in my life i really thougt i was going to die!! It was a hell to get out of, and every time i managed to move and get them down somewhat they came back even stronger. So that night i couldnt sleep
But ive never gotten that close consciouss again, and its a pretty anoying beginners luck. But the experience tells me that if i have the right attitude, conentration and dedication i can do it anytime i like to. Something i havent had in a long time
