Have you looked at the tutorials? Most of the techniques don't require setting an alarm. MILD, for example, involves you telling yourself to wake up after a dream. HILD is a hypnosis/autosuggestion technique, and VILD is a technique where you visualize a dream you want to have.

Also, why can't you set your alarm? If you're afraid of waking everyone else up, you can use a cell phone set to vibrate under your pillow. That's what I do.

i cant because my grandma is over and she wakes with every rustle.

i sleep too deep to set a vibrator under pillow, but i have never tried, so i will try.

      thx

I sleep pretty deeply also, but having it constantly vibrate under your ear (assuming your head is still on your pillow) is usually sufficient for me.

Try using your own mind. I know it sounds impossible but just simply telling yourself in the easiest way possible that waking after five hours sleep does work. Just imagine yourself getting up at the right time, whilst telling yourself that you will wake up in five hours.

Do it over and over again untill it becomes clear to you and you feel like you will wake up at the time you desire.

      It works!

Hey, i am a very deep sleeper but after downloading a piece of freeware that is an alarm that plays any music you have on your PC, music like from limewire or itunes etc, i set it to low bass sounds to rumble and it doesnt go outside of the room, it evens comes up with a fullscreen messgage but i tend to turn the monitor off. It also doesnt wake my parents in the next rom so id recommend it =)

im posting from skool atm but ill reply with the link, tried it the past 2 nights and it even wakes me up, my dad has to even scream at me to wake me up... xD

I think this is the program you are looking for.

it works really well and plays your music as the alarm as long as several nice little features and the full screen message.
