you CAN DEILD after moving, its just a little harder than if you stay still. However, you should probably limit those movements to very small things. I almost always automatically open my eyes and turn over every time I wake up, however I still am able to DEILD. As long as you're quick about whatever you're doing, you should be fine. I certainly don't think you should actually get out of bed though. To be honest I wouldn't even recommend using an alarm. The noise usually startles me awake too much and snaps my concentration of the dream. Just try to remember to DEILD whenever you wake up naturally

Ohh, sweet. I didn't know that, thanks.
I've tried a few times after moving and failed, while the 2 times I succeeded I hadn't moved. So I figured even opening your eyes will screw it up.

Crap, this morning would have been the best time to try. I woke up from a lucid and had moved just slightly. I could have closed my eyes and tried to DEILD straight away but didn't bother because I thought I'd blown it already.

Despite my alarm being the most horrid, loud sound ever, I barely hear it when I wake up. It's like my ears are in SP. I'll try moving my alarm away. And yes, I can go back into dreams (not lucid, because my mind wanders) after moving when I wake up. It's just the problem of my mind wandering so fast. Completely random thoughts fill my mind without control at random moments. It's like someone else's voice messing up my brain.
