      Matrix Quotations

Is it just me, or do lots of the people on this forum use Matrix quotations, pictures, etc. in their signatures and avatars? There's the classic "Take the Red pill", and of course we cannot forget "There is no spoon".(If you don't get these sayings, see the movie; you won't regret it). I just thought that it is kind of amazing that so many elements of lucid dreaming are present in that movie. Maybe the producers have LD's...?

P.S. I call 'follow the white rabbit'!

It would be interesting to see if the creators have any knowledge of lucid dreaming. The whole concept of the Matrix is remarkably similar to dreaming.

Yes, but the idea of all life being only a story, be it a book or a computer simulation has also been around for long and I think it's rather relaying on that concept.

Yes, and that concept is similar to lucid dreaming.
      The Matrix is a dream.
People sleeping in those pink capsules, are ourselves in our beds.
Neo, Trinity and Morpheus, are people that are aware of the dream
So they are the lucid dreamers or oneironauts.

The moment Neo realized that everything was a computer simulation, he was able to fly, move faster than bullets and many other things.

Just like when one of us realize that he is dreaming...

      I just wanna dream!

I would hope that at least a few members of the cast of the Matrix have some interest in lucid drreaming.

If not... i would hope that they would be very open to the idea.

      No it's not, not completely.

But your other points are rather interesting and correct.
