Thread: First actual lucid dream...I think!

Last night I think I had a lucid dream. So, in the middle of the night in a dream (I have no idea when it was, or what happened before and after it), I was jumping up and down in a field, hundreds of feet in the air. I knew I was dreaming to begin with somehow. After a few seconds, it began to fade away. I remembered to spin to gain control back. I spun counterclockwise (not sure if that matters) and everything became blurry. Then it faded away into who knows what. I'm not sure if that's when I woke up or if I went into another dream.

But I have a question. I never induced the dream. It just happened. At random, in the middle of the night. I also never realized I was dreaming at any point. I knew it to begin with. What would this be classified as (DILD, WILD, FILD, etc)?

Also, another question. I remember that when I was in the dream, it was real, as real as real life. But when I woke up, it was like remembering something I had thought of earlier. I didn't remember it as something I did. It was the same quality as any other dream. I kept thinking, oh, it probably wasn't really a lucid dream, just a "I thought I was lucid" dream, because of the quality. Any verification?
