I go to bed at around the same time, and the only time I've ever had a successful WBTB was when I woke up at 3 AM.

people ALWAYS discuss this. And youll get answers anywhere between 3 and 6 hours after you fall asleep.

Aim for 5-6 hours sleep. Then if it takes you too long to get back to sleep
      a) you stayed up to long during the WBTB or
      b) you need to sleep a little less.

or if you fall straight to sleep
      a) stay up a little longer during WBTB or
      b) sleep a little more.

Keep tuning your times, till you can get it right.
