      SP-Dreaming Transition

Alright, I can get into SP fine, but how do I continue to a dream?

I already tried visualizing the scenario, but nothing happened or even materialized. It was just like thinking. Any tips?

Don't try to focus on anything. SP is usually the first part of the WILD. You need to wait for the Hypnogogic Imagery phase to start. Just lay there and try to keep conscious, and see if a picture (could be anything) appears. Thats when HI starts. From there, just observe it. Don't try to control it or focus on it. More should appear, and you should just sorta shift into it. Thats how it was for me.

Any other tips? Sinking into my bed will make me fall asleep, I think...

Okay this is a question that i might be able to answer. Because I've had ENOUGH of crap answers written by people who try to help or think they know the answer and try and act smart or maybe it works for them and not anybody else. Don't listen to that shit. You have to know what happens first, you have to know why it happens before you DO anything - THEN you figure out how to achieve that by what works for you.

      It works like this:

      Time Line of falling asleep:

conscious awake state - you are awake lying in bed and you know
that you are going to sleep.

unconscious awake state - You are awake lying in bed and you drift
      off into your thoughts

Unconscious Sleep Paralysis - This is the process in which your body shuts
down while your mind is occupied by your thoughts

Sleep state - Your body is shut off and you are sleeping or
      dreaming

now what happens when you go through SP is that you have to keep your mind occupied. SP fades away because you are conscious when you're in SP, so your body automatically stops SP or it fades away. You have to act like you don't know SP is happening to you (you have to pretend to be occupied). Now the suggestions that people may give you is THEIR way of achieving this. You have to understand what happens first then you use your knowledge to find out what works for you, not what other people say works for them (although in some cases what works for someone else may also work for you).

i hope this clears things up for you. i cant give you a definite answer but i can help you make your own answer.

And if I'm wrong with this post then I give you the right to call me a dick (or call my answer crap). which i dislike very much, but i deserve it if i am wrong.

P.S. - Unconscious Sleep Paralysis is not the actual name for that stage, its just the process in which your body shuts down. Conscious Sleep Paralysis is just regular Sleep Paralysis.
