      WILD concept?

After doing WILD for well over a year now, I have started having success.

It seems that for it to work I have to keep myself awake through the stage where my body is trying to knock me out, then when I am beyond that you can just stop trying and let go.

Then I fall asleep and wake up in a dream. Is that how it works for other people?

I have never seen it explained this way by anyone on here. Hopefully that is helpful.

Yes, I do pretty much the same thing, but I don't completely let my self fall asleep.

When I am really, really tired, or as you said "knocked out", I try my best to maintain consciousness. Pretty soon I become really sleepy, but I keep myself aware. Pretty soon I find myself in a dream, and I instantly know I'm dreaming.

But hey, whatever works for you.

Well, when I have a WILD, I'm fully conscious as I enter the dream. I don't wake up in the dream, I watch it start, and I'm aware of it.

But success is great, especially after a year of practice!
