I've forced mine to appear, but all he did (He was a little kid on a skateboard and a baseball hat) was skateboard over to me and say nothing. My subconcious is a prick.

YEAH YOU HEARD ME SUBCONCIOUS, YOU'RE A PRICK.

Now I'm probably going to have a nightmare tonight thanks to me insulting my subconcious...

if you ever get to talk to your subconscious, try asking him/her for Lucid Dreams every night! maybe they'll give it to you...

      have anyone tried this?

When your in an LD, just summon your subconscious.
Close your eyes and yell, "WHEN I TURN AROUND MY SUBCONSCIOUS WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They probably will be there...

I guess it depends on why you want to talk to your subconscious. I "talk" to mine all the time, telling myself to have lucid dreams or at least have good dream recall. It's not really that hard. I suppose it's just a glorified version of your inner monologue.

Isn't every dream character technically a manifestation of your subconscious? Since your entire dream environment is created by the subconscious mind, then wouldn't everything inside it be a part of it? If this is true, then any DC you talk to would be talking to your subconscious.

Of course different DCs react differently when you interact with them, so they are more like puppets being roleplayed by the subconcious. Which is why it would be more interesting to have a conversation with ones subconcious directly and without any personality / behavioural modifications.
