Need help after waking in dream room

once u have entered your dream room or something after doing a successful WILD, what should you do next? like are there any techniques / things to do that help you not lose focus in the first few seconds of the dream?

cause i did a successful WILD and ended up in my dream room, got soo excited and woke up. i just want to know if there is a certain thing i should do right away.

any thoughts? what do u do?

u should try to stabilize ur dream. like doing something that activates ur conscious brain. try rubbing ur hands together really fast. imagine the friction making ur hands hot. anything that gets u mor lucid. but dont over-do it or ull get too lucid and wake up
The chance of the bread falling with the butter side down is directly proportional to the value of the carpet.

LittleBuddy, I recommend getting used to what being lucid FEELS like by grounding yourself in your dreams.

I know when I first become lucid, I have to fight that initial rush of adrenalin. I do this by telling myself to calm down, breathing naturally (or a little slower) and I try to "ground" myself in the dream (i.e., make it as lucid as it can be) instead of immediately racing to do something before I lose lucidity.

One of the tricks I use to "ground" myself is to "touch" things. By touching.. I mean really "feeling" them. Get into how they feel.. are they hot, cold, smooth, rough, etc. (this also increases the vividness of the dream along with helping me remain in it longer).

You may also try to increase your vividness by confidently stating aloud "increase lucidity" or "clarity now".

Just remember that "the deeper the level of lucidity.. the better your lucid experience should be"

Not sure if this topic is totally finished yet, so I'll throw in my fourpence worth:

I like to carry on RCing, say close my mouth and nose, and keep on breathing, similar to the noseRC. I think this works well for me because it is unlikely that I will forget that I am dreaming, thanks to the constant reminders that I am. This in turn helps to increase vividity.
