all i can say is that you just have to be able to keep yourself from being excited. Just relax, breathe. There's really no other way than self control. |

I've been using the FILD technique to obtain lucidity, but have only had but so much luck. The scenario plays out like this: I set up my night stand (Juice, Dj, etc.), then I lay down get into a state of complete relaxation, and start tapping my fingers (not too hard; just enough to "wiggle the keys on your key board"). After a while, I can feel my eyes start to bounce around in my head, and I start seeing some random pictures (stairs, walkways, hallways, dirt paths, etc.) and then, I start thinking "Here it is! I'm getting closer!" then I guess the excitement wakes me up... I repeat this process numerouse times, then eventually find myself waking up. I try not to think about it when I start to cross over, but I can't help it. *shrugs* Any ideads? |

Yeah, your experiencing a lot of hypnagogic imagery. That stuff is pretty fascinating. I usually wake up from those too. When are you doing it? |

Yea, I've been trying to do it right when I fall asleep, fully aware that it's better to do after a while. I'm just lazy, plus if I set my alarm, my baby will wake up and not go back to sleep lol. Anyways, thanks for the welcome and at least trying to help. I figured there was no easy help for this. |

Dank, one thing I could suggest is dont start moving your fingers so early, for me I usually have one or two brief awakenings a night without thinking about it, if you do to.. then try it then. |
