      This is a really nice post. I'd never known of the techniques Dali used to explore his Dreams up until now.

      His method is interesting too. I've used similar tricks in the past to make myself more aware of the awake/sleep line, like raising your arm while in bed. You start to fall asleep, your muscles "switch off", and your arm falling and hitting the bed brings you back to consciousness. It worked for a short while but soon lost it's effectiveness. Using sound as in this technique seems like an idea worth trying.

      Very interesting technique.. it seems like doing it that way you get the feel of balancing between sleep and awake state, I'll try it out for sure
