Eyes open? That would be impossible for me, almost. I can only induce the state I'm in for WILD with my eyes closed. |

I have WILD a few times and it is great because I will gain a 100% lucid experience. It feels as if i've just opened my eyes and i'm in some place and I go to start doing something because i'm lucid and my physical eyes will open.... my dream will keep going if i catch myself but will soon quickly fade away. |

Yea it happens to me. I wild just enter the lucid dream and then one of my eyes will start to open. Then i will see half- reality and half a dream. Very hard, if not impossible, to stay asleep. |

Yea thats exactly what happens to me where my eyes will slowly open like the relaxed state is when they are like 1/3 open. However, when i WILD they forcefully fully open and then just because there is light in the room usually i'll regain my eyesight after a few seconds and the dream slips away. |

Sounds very much like you experienced sleep paralysis. It's not uncommon to hallucinate during sleep paralysis, it has happened to me, too. It's very much like dreaming awake through closed eyelids. |
