for people who are trying REALLY hard to get a 1st LD

ok if any LD newbies are out there who are trying exceptionally hard to get a LD,take this advice.
just take one day off trying completely
no wbtb no mild attempts just a normal sleep.
yeah in the morning jot your dream down but if youve been trying very very hard and you take a day off then im sure youll get some results at least.
thats how i got my first ld anyway, just taking a day off after trying hard for a week.

would people post some results? id be really interested to hear your outcome!

Yeah, I agree with ya.. the idea is to not stress and not let a sense of failure consume you. I had my first LD when I stopped trying as well (first since joining DV I mean).

Good advice. Extra stress is counterproductive.

My first ones came with no thoguht about it thats for sure. But anohter method, totally opposite, is to try really hard. But usually right when you stop stressing, they come.

I found combining techniques works well too. I used MILD+RC by thinking "Gumby is LDing, Gumby has self control" (see naming subconscious thread} repeatedly and imaged the finger through hand RC technique in my mind before and during going to sleep.

I also notice that if I have any excessive expectation or stress regarding my LD's, then they tend to stop happening

As soon as I stop stressing ... I have another
