      Is auto suggestion only a temporary method?

      I use to have fairly good success (one every one or two weeks) with auto suggestion, but now i'm lucky if i get one a month. I thought that the more i practice, the better at it i would become. Do you think my luck is down or does technique diminish over time? Has this happened to anyone else?

      I think with autosuggestion, if you use it too much in a short amount of time, it starts to lose it's effectiveness. Like a drug, you become tolerant of it after a while.

      Try changing up your phrases. I find that helps.

      Well actually auto suggestion work better with time, the more you use them the more they get stuck into your mind.

      Its NOT like a drug, believe me.

      But maybe you are putting bad autosuggestions in your mind by accident, if you start to doubt a lot about this method then your subconscious will reconginze that doubts and start using them as facts.

      So you may be carving into your mind "Lucid Dream suggestions will loose its effectivness with time" without knowing

      Read more about self-hypnosis and auto suggestin to boost your trust into this methods.

      And keep practicing.

      Make some suggestion like: Whenever I see a weird person I will chek reality.

      Check: warpmymind.com they have some good files about lucid dream suggestions
