Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I believe that having lucid dreams is 110% logical. But it seemed like after i changed the scenery it became a normal dream again. Could I have dreamed about dreaming? |

Sounds like you may have got confused/distracted maybe after the scenery change and you started to lose some of your consciousness? |

when you realize you're lucid, don't just jump right into it and start trying to fly or change scenery. Take time to ground yourself by rubbing your hands together or even talking to yourself, saying things like "I am dreaming. I am lucid." and really try to notice your surroundings. Once you do that everything will be more clear and you'll be able to have more control over the dream. |

i completely agree. i find the best thing to do after gaining lucidity, is try to gain MORE lucidity. dont do ANYTHING. i dont really pay attention to my dream untill i feel completely concious about what's going on. try to think about something going on in your real life, and then think, well that doesnt affect me, because im dreaming. my first lucid dream i was only lucid for about 3 seconds because in those seconds, i transformed into a super-superhero and i flew away to fight evilllll..... hahahaha. i obviously forgot that i was dreaming and i was focused on killing the guy that was stealing shit and carrying a gun.... |

I'm new here but the advise given sounds very good, I'm going to focus more on grounding myself once I'm lucid. |
|
Yep, I know exactly what you mean. I go to try and do something and then I forget I am lucid and I end up doing some stupid dream thing like trying to get DCs lucid or something. I don't really know how to avoid it other than to focus grounding yourself like other people have said, and maybe to continue checking that you are dreaming often. Maybe continuing to remind yourself that you are dreaming. |
