There is a good MP3 in the lucid aids forum for this, I think it's called Lucid Remix. |

I'll search for it and see what I find, and then reply/edit this post after I listen to it. |

well, those are indeed good ideas, making a song say you are lucid dreaming, and it is probably better than my idea. |

I seriously think this will work well. My only concern is that I'll have to endure the entire dream while listening to music paly in the background. If I'm trying to have sex or what have you I don't want to be hearing music voer the top. |
|
usually my subconcious blocks it out after I realize I'm lucid. |

I ♥ DREAMVIEWS. I always have, and I always will. There is nothing else to it.
Hmm this sounds like a great idea in theory, but I know I would find it very hard to get to sleep with earphones in and with music playing. Maybe I'll give it a go with some soft music... Keane or something should do the trick |
|
usually I keep my volume somewhere between 25% to 50%. |

I Will have to try this. Thanks Creation. Adding what seems to be an easier way to have LDs. |

It was hard getting comfortable wearing headphones. I played the music and fell asleep, but I never heard the music in my dream. I "knew" I was dreaming but had no control and it wasn't really "me" that was controlling myself. For some reason, I did dumb reality check of trying to move things with my mind. I still knew it was a dream, just had no control. Interesting technique though. |

Hmh, good idea. Though, it wont work with me. I am a metal fan and I dont want to get dreams about demons and monsters. |

whatever the mind conceives, it achieves.
DILDS: 4

Total lucid dreams since 19th May ( Since I became interested in it) : 4
Actually I've found that listening to good songs is a good way of proficiently relaxing yourself. Body and mind. |

I have the problem that if I fall asleep with earphones, as soon as the music starts playing, I awaken. I think I may have the music too loud, but does anyone else have this problem? |
|
yeah I have this prob with music and bi-neural beats. just take t down few notches. as long as you can still here it. |

Hahahaha, I should get one song and have it repeat and repeat over and over for the whole night. I don't know why, but I'd love to be in that He Said She Said music video by Ashley Tisdale |

Here is the problem i find with this idea. Yes it might work for you, but when you're dreaming its hard to get into the habit of analyzing everything. Like your idea of throwing whatever object at a car or something like that. Easier said than done. The problem there is that when we dream, we don't know it, so we act as if we were in our waking life. Now me, I would never throw a radio at a moving car to reality check, so why would i do something crazy like that in my dreams? I think people should get more into the old fashioned rc's like flipping light switches and pluging your nose. Its easier and more likely to happen in your dreams than what you have suggested. The way i see it, realization of being in a dream will come from habitual behavioral patters like habitually rc'ing. If you get into this constant manner in your waking life, your more likely to do so in your dreams. |

I have NEVER been able to sleep with earbuds/headphones at night. Somewhere along the way I do some tossing and turning and wind up in a tangled mess during the night. |

You talk to vacuum cleaners and safes, you've had apple trees growing in your living room, tigers and horses in your dining room, an elephant in your bedroom. I've seen you locked in a jail in the middle of your living room and once someone swore they saw you floating in mid-air! How do you explain that, Major Nelson!?
Now, I haven't exactly had many lucid dreams, but my best one yet was induced just like this. And it wasn't just one either, I kept falling back asleep and finding myself back where I left off. I find the music helps ground me somewhat in reality, especially if I'm drifting back and forth between sleep and waking life, like in the morning. Almost had an accidental WILD this way as well, but I got too excited and woke up. |

At least I got a good wine.

I've been thinking about music to induce dreams as well. I can't seem to focus otherwise... |
