umm i dont understand how to use that BW generator man. like, am i just supposed to listen to those high frequency noises though head phones and "try" and relax? cuzz some of those noises are pretty harsh. |
|
The "harsh" noises are probably beta frequencies. If you just wake up and listen to high beta of course you can't relax... but if you are from beta and go from beta down to alpha slowly, by the time its done your eyes will be drooping a lot. |

careful with that BW gen. I downloaded a preset that got some good reviews called something like "astral projection - will not fail". Mind you most people were not reporting an AP, but did get some weird cool effects. Well I got really nothing from it except becoming more tired than I was. I looked in the mirror about 20 minutes after I stopped listening to it, and my forearms and neck/upper chest area had broken out into a rash or something (it subsided within an hour). No joke. Just be careful is all I'm saying. |

Don't buy the brainwave generator. Everyone who has tried it (with the exception of "jags", who i suspect is the capatalist in this filthy deceptive sceme) says that it doesnt work. Spend your money on something more worthwhile, like the Novadreamer. It may be outrageously overpriced at $500 (I would never buy one at that price), and just another capatalist scheme, but at least it has been proven to work! |

well i was all ready to post a topic on holosync and see if anyone had bought it cuz its tempting me! But you smart dv members beat me to it. At least holosync has the no questions asked return thing so i dunno, i just wanna talk to someone who has bought it. |

Hypnosis also works! I've yet to try it but there's be much positive from other people that have tryed it. It's basicaly a recording about 30 minutes long that sets you into a trance before you go sleep. |

I never thought dreams could be so intresting and that people thought about them in so much depth till I found out about this site and Lucid Dreaming.
I've done self hypnosis without a recording. The first time I did it led up to a 2 week period where I averaged 1 LD a night. |

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.
These programs look similar to holosync. I've listened to the first one several times and I would recomend giving it a try. These CDs are much more ecconomic: |

i think it's a mistake to look at this technology as a shortcut. if you are trying to get lucid for the first time i doubt it will be much help...however, if you are an experienced lucid dreamer, it would probably be effective in adding some more lucid dreams...but if you can get to the point where you can induce lucid dreams naturally, why bother with any expensive equipment? it's worth the hard work. |

Am I crazy?
A program you may want to check out is the NeuroProgrammer2. It uses binaural beats to affect the brainwave patterns of the mind like the other products mentioned. It is a very professional product with a nice interface and tons of options. You can download a 15 day trial demo and check it out for yourself. It may not work wonders, but it does work. |

Has anyone tried hypnosis/trance? I mean, before bumping up the WarpMyMind.com thread I'm just going to say that they have some really nice hypnosis mp3's there. Also lucid dreaming related hypnosis files. Including a CURSE that will make you LD every night (CurseLucidDreams), tried it last night... and I woke up after every dream, didn't become lucid but definitely some progress! I'll listen to that a few days and I'll see if it works... |
