      Fire Lotus.

Is the fire lotus technique in the new Lucid Dreaming book(stephan laberge) just wild? I'm very confused if its a technique entirely different, or just a way to do wild in an easier fasion.

i think its just the buddist version of WILD, it sounds harder to me. if it works for you, i'm jealous.

I only have EWLD, so the technique might be different in Lucid Dreaming....

they're all the same anyway, afterall, its just another "Wake Initiated Lucid Dream"

just use whatever works for you.

I use that tech called the fire lotus for 18 years to get lds in the morning, and it works great for me.
Well its a wild variation, there are many wild forms.
Because it sure gives lucid dreams and you start from waking, its waking induced. you need a strong feeling focus 4 it!

Most ppl dont even know what they call like a classic wild is just a trance.
A trance takes you from waking to rem sleep and beyond.
its a split consciousness tech where you let a part of your consciousness stay awake and the other part fall a sleep.

What technique has a higher probability of working? Wild or Mild?

I think that varies among individuals Sparky. I've had a little more success with MILD than WILD, but that is mainly due to my erratic sleep schedule. I find that the only time I can do WILD is when I am getting plenty of sleep and keeping regular hours.

MILD can be practiced any time you wake up in the night, WILD is best after about 6 hours of good sleep.

Seeker is right Sparky, that differs from person to person and you should test that to find out for yourself what works best!

The fire lotus is for some ppl btw a really easy tech end for others sheer impossible.
Many techs you just have to give a go and c how well you will do.
Also talent plays a role at wild.

Good luck Sparky...let your dreams spark to lucidity
