      Question Starting Out

Hi, I'm Wesley Gray. I'm new around here. Though I've made a few attempts at lucid dreaming, none were too serious or prepared. I have started dream journalling and my recall is pretty good. I'm trying to formulate a plan for every night. Since I'm a beginner I am thinking about using WBTB with MILD to bring success. I was hoping you could look over my plan and offer suggestions, comments, and/or inspiration for a beginner like me.

      1. Go to be at midnight. Use MILD.
      2. Wake up at 5:30.
      3. Read materials about lucid dreaming, and watch a video on lucidity. Write down any dreams I might have.
      4. Go back to bed. Use MILD.
      5. Set an "alarm" for 7:00 on my cell phone that quietly plays "you are dreaming", so I won't wake up, but it might help me get dreaming.
      6. Lucidity?

      Thanks for the help.

      Cheers,

      Wesley Gray

make sure u dont get TOO awake when you wake up... but thinking/reading about lucidity is a good thing to do. honestly, if you ask me, id take out the aalarm that says you're dreaming part. i was trying that for a while too... but i would either just straight up wake up because of it, or i would totally ignore it in my dream(like not even hear it).. thats my advice.... and also i would MILD only when you first go to bed, and when you WBTB, try a full out WILD..

      Question Using WILD

I tried using the WILD+WBTB strategy last night. I kept at it for a while, I don't know how long. My body was shaking and numb, my heart was racing, and it seemed hotter. I could not however, get my body to fall asleep? Am I at least starting things out right? I think since I used WBTB and was up for thirty-fourty minutes, I might have been to awake too much? Should I try only staying up for five and then doing WILD? Suggestions please .

      Cheers,

      Wesley Gray

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

      You only need ask.
      _____

Die, to this routine. Spontaneity is key.
Then throw that key, as you realise you are already lucid.

yes. ur at a great start. lol. but if you felt that falling asleep took too long and u couldnt do it, an even shorter WBTB time would most likely help. u need to keep on testing stuff out, and see whats best for you. and by what u said (body numb, heart racing), it sounds like you couldve already been under the effects of sleep paralysis... idk. i hope i help
