      That's my problem too. I always remember that I have to stay conscious, then I remember that I'm lying in bed and everythings gone again. ^^"

      I'm afraid of slipping away (which I'll do anyway then ).

      I guess I'll try your method, I can only get better.

      If you are imagining you are walking or running or moving you are staying awake by thinking of that (seeing it in your imaginary vision), and you certainly wouldn't be walking or running in bed either.
      So this process works 2-fold.
      Firstly your mind is kept active and distracted to keep you awake and your movement is inducing dreaming and lucidity slowly so your body can do whatever and fall asleep while you are still visioning.
      in doing this your mind should never come back to thinking of you in bed, quite the opposite, the moving or running will run you away from your real world to the dream world.
      So when you dream it hopefully goes lucid again as it did for me.
