Thread: I'm getting close =D

So I've known about lucid dreams for a few years and have been visiting DV for a few years. I've alwyays thought it was cool. I've had two short LDs before, when i was little, and that's what sparked my interest in LDs. I have very good dream recall. I just need to force myself to write them down.
I decided yesterday to get SERIOUS about dreams.
I vowed to actually write in my dream journal (the last entry was from 2006!).
I read a lot of threads and stuff on this website.
I created an account.
I was getting tired.
I looked at pictures of national parks and pretty scenery, hoping I would then dream about them.
I went to bed.
I counted backwords from 100 to relax myself. Around 35 I started dreaming.
I dreampt I was playing the Sims, but I was actually a Sim. The whole time I was thinking, "Ok, I know I'm dreaming, but I need to get lucid so I can get out of here!"

Considering this was the first "serious" night, I think I did well!
