That happens to me, too. I kind of skip the whole recognition step sometimes and do things without even really realizing that I'm lucid. |

For some reason ever since trying to attain lucid dreaming, I've been having dreams where I knew I could do anything I really want but I've never told myself "this is a dream." What's the deal with that? Isn't that kinda backwords? I'd much rather know I'm dreaming first and then do whatever I want. That way I wouldn't have to worry about repercussions, etc. |

The only way to fix it is to change the way you think about lucid dreaming. You dream that you can do anything because you think that you can do anything with lucid dreaming. So the goal no longer becomes lucid dreaming, it becomes 'can do anything'. Lucid dreaming should be about 'I'm dreaming'....put that as the primary function of it. |
