      Clock induced lucid dream..XD

I know this may sound like a MILD in a way it is. I went to the supermarket recently and thought I'd get a new clock for LDing. It's very small, those little square analog ones. I din't do any checks with it btw but knew how to in my mind. Look and look away and then expect another time and look back. In my mind the time did change. But I never did any of the actual checks just looked at it and kinda imagined how it would turn out repeatedly. After that I put the clock on my desk and went to sleep. While falling asleep my mind was solely fixed on the impression that there is a clock on the desk and how to do the check with it. It worked the first dream I remembered, but was a medium level one because I din't remember my plan. The next dream I was holding the clock but it had stopped moving and I woke up after that. Maybe someone has already tried this....

Clock induced lucid dreams are very possible! I've heard of others using digital alarm clocks/digital watches as RCs. When I was around 10, I had a digital watch. I didn't like it, because I always got scared (but got over it ) whenever I looked at it in a dream, because the numbers would scramble at high speed. It wasn't the fact that I realized that I was dreaming that scared me, it was the dream watch itself... I was a weird kid.

Anyways, good luck with your clock induction, let us know how it goes!

Yes they can be pretty scary. If you have seen the movie 1408 you will know it can be.... A radio clock in a haunted hotel room 1408 with numbers that go at high speed. I sure got the vibes. For me digital watches work better than analog ones but I still bought the clock cause I got bored with digital numbers.

Oh, I have a tip: get two analog clocks. When you are dreaming, they are likely to not show the same time.
