So how do I get past this part?
I know exactly what you're talking about. You're lieing there doing deep belly breathing for about 15 - 20 minutes, you start feeling yourself sink into the bed. Then when you get the "vibs" you get scared, not scared of dreaming, but simply because youve been lieing there for so long just concentrating on breathing and then all of sudden you feel these awkward sensations.
It's happened to me a hundred times... Usually when I try to do it when I first lie down at night, which is extremely difficult.
Are you getting core sleep first? If so, it's alot easier and faster to go through the first couple sleep stages if you're already extremely relaxed.
For me there was alot of bumps on the road before I experienced my first WILD, but when I did it was extroidinary watching an image form out of a faint milky substance, then expand into an actual scenario =D.
After the vibrations you are talking about, HI usually occurs. I usually experience hypnotic sounds before the imagery. Those can be VERY disturbing. =) But good luck, just KEEP trying; the more you experience the "awkward sensations" the more familar you will be with them, and soon you wont think anything of them when they occur. Just takes time and patience
