      TILD (Trance Induced Lucid Dream)

Although not religious at all, this technique uses the same trance methods as Suki dancers and many worldwide trance-based rituals.
All this needs like any other method here is belief. Our is belief is Lucidity.
I have done it many times, and do not believe in much. Lol.
All I ask is you try this once. Not a fluffy long-term progression.

The trick is to keep things simple. We don't wan't a 15 step method. It's really 2 steps:

      1) Before bed, make sure you are alone. It may be embarrassing what I ask of you. Sit (not lie) in a chair where you are not disturbed or seen.
Relax completely and diminish any daily thoughts over 1-2 minutes. ( I mean diminish...throw out thoughts that come in) and replace them with "I will move to Lucidity as I near 10".
Now I know you are wondering what I mean by this, but I assure you it will make good sense.
Now all you will try to have in your mind are those words "I will move to Lucidity as I reach 10".
After 2 minutes of ridding daily thoughts, start to move your head (and shoulders if you wish) back and forwards as you count one to ten, with fully forward and back to start position as one count.
From head upright to about a heads width forward, then back. A move forward and return to upright should be the length it takes you to say the chant.
Even pivot forward and back at the "waist" if you have room. That feels even better and gives more motion, and saves the neck.
There is no set distance, but just feel the movement and get in a trance like sway back and forward. Don't be uncomfortable.
Intensify the move, and the volume of the same words each count until you reach 10, then start again from scratch.
You can do it out loud or in your head is easier for the escalating volume. Then keep repeating, only for FIVE minutes before bed.
This is the MOST Important step.

      2) As you lie in bed get as relaxed as you can. The next step, as you go to sleep and also at any time you wake (I suggest setting alarm to a in between REM cycles or when you awaken),
remember yourself sitting in your chair doing the trance movements (picture it in your mind) and repeat them in your head counting one to ten (as you did in your chair) but NOT physically moving now at all.
See the movement and hear yourself in your MIND. Count to ten and start again feeling the motion and hearing the words you spoke harder each count towards 10 and louder each time as you reach ten.
You will almost feel your head begin to move it is that real to you. Then repeat again and again, until you go to sleep, or go Lucid.

It is an easy process, and one I have had great success with.
As I said I only ask you try once, doing it to the letter though, and then I welcome feedback.

Sounds interesting... I don't have a chair in my bedroom right now, but when my vacation ends I'll definitely see if I can get any luck.

You can just sit on your bed and do if is it's private.
Just hard to actually move back and forward if you are lying down for the first part of the technique.
      Is why I suggested sitting.

This sounds freaky. I have to try it! Thanks. You go lucid right from going to sleep?

I have once and went into a false awakening then Lucid.
Doing it before bed sitting up and while you go to sleep doing it in your head:
      preps you thinking about Lucidity,
      gives you a focus,
      gives you a visualisation,
gives you the needed movement in your mind,
the repetitive nature of the visualisation helps you off to sleep,
makes sure gaining Lucidity is the last thing on your mind before falling asleep.

Please do not purposefully try to stay awake doing this immediately at bedtime.

It actually seems very plausible when you think about it, great tutorial. I think i'll give it a try when I get a chance, one thing though; When you say fully forward and backward, you mean as far as your head will go forward and back without feeling any pain right? And by Intensify the movements, do you mean faster?

Theres no dream like the dream of reality.
