      Binural beats?

I know that there are other theads about this and some people say that they lose dream recall and get headaches from using them. My question is, I have a binural beat that is ment to induce lucid dreaming, would this be any different and has anyone had expiriences with these.

Everyone is different, you won't know unless you try. What are the frequencies?

I've never used binaural beats to attempt to LD, however I have listened to them just to see what the heck they were. I tested by listening to a specific track (which I forget where I got, sorry) for about 30 mins on a few occasions. Every time I almost immediatly felt space-y. Afterwards my ability to recall what the heck I'd actually done while listening to them was VERY difficult. In fact it produced an effect in me very close to an absence seizure which I have had all of twice in my life. Still it was enough for me to decide not to screw with them. But this isn't meant to scare you. As said above, it all really depends on your brain. My brain is odd anyway!

I would avoid them if you are prone to seizures. Could be VERY bad.

All binaural beats are different, there are some that wake you up, some that put you to sleep. Or meditate. Or WILD. Or mimic caffeine. So on and so forth. A lucid dreaming track would take you to deep sleep level brainwaves, then raise you to REM sleep slowly. If you are using BWgen, try:

      2.5 hz at 95% volume
      4 hz at 95% volume
      8 hz at 100% volume
      38 hz at 15% volume

Some people find that replacing the 38 with 37 works better. It is possible to replace the 8 with 7.83, I believe that frequency has something to do with the Earth's electromagnetic waves or something.

Considering my sister is epileptic I probably shouldn't have screwed with it to begin with huh? I've never had anything but an absence seizure, I've been tested with the lights and stuff while on EEG and I don't test for anything. Still, yeah, avoid.
