      A Song?

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere, but I'm very tired and I need to get it down before I forget.

I remember reading somewhere that if someone sprays a perfume or something that the sleeper picked out then the conscious mind will wake up and you will become lucid.

I was wondering if I could do the same thing with music. I wanted to pick a song and then set it on my alarm to go off after 5 hours of sleep and then become lucid, but I'm not sure if it would work.
      Any advice?

I'm sorry if this doesn't make since. I'm very tired and it took me 15 minutes to type all oof this because of the typos.

Umm... I'm not sure this belongs in Attaining Lucidity. Maybe General Dreaming. You could try this yourself though.

Sorry, guys. I wrote it very late and I could hardly think.

What I was saying is this:
If I pick a song and get it to play after five hours of sleep, will it awake my concious mind and make me lucid? I'm not sure if that's any clearer or not. I hope so, though.

I tried it last night and ended up remember three dreams this morning.

I think the music would just wake me up, but you might be different.

It didn't wake me up, and I didn't become lucid.
I did remember quite a bit of three different dreams when I woke up
and the song was still playing.
