Hi, well the reason I ask this question is because a few weeks ago I started doing WBTB and then saying affirmations to myself before I went to sleep again and I got lucid about 3 days running and it was great. So I thought hey, I've found a way to get lucid all the time!
So I continued doing this method, but then it stopped for a couple of weeks until the other day when I did WBTB and then did the affirmations, but decided to imagine a famous persons voice saying it (I thought this might help me concentrate on the voice and stay more conscious) and it worked! I became lucid.
Now I haven't tried it since because I've been too sleepy, but I thought maybe to keep my subconscious on it's toes so to speak, I'll do the affirmations, but with a famous person (or maybe a family member or someone elses voice I know well) speaking them. E.g- "Jules, you will realise you are dreaming and control it", focusing on the way the person says it so I stay more conscious. I'd probably change the person speaking after three or four times too.
Do you think this is a good idea, and do you find that techniques that used to work for you don't anymore, possibly because your subconscious has become used to them and bored of them?
Hope this makes sense!
