      WILD or Fluke?

Sorry, I just had to share this. Even if it didn't really mean much, the whole experience was incredibly exciting for me, since I've never had this kind of success in the past. Early this morning I tried WILDing again. I relaxed, and then suddenly blacked out for maybe a second or so. The next thing I remember, is my body began to breath very clearly and deeply on its own. It was such a refreshing and relaxing feeling. Soon after, my eyelids began to flutter for maybe about fifteen seconds, at which point I got too excited that something was happening and accidentally woke myself up. No hypnogogic imagery or anything like that, though. Am I doing this right? Did I almost WILD? Or was this just some weird fluke?

Nonetheless, I hope to get things right tonight and have a successful LD. Wish me luck!

Sounds like you were having a WILD. I've had the same happen to me. I've never gotten past the vibrations though as I get too excited and wake up.

The eyes shaking happens with me too, I was just told when that happens try looking down and not straight/up. Try not to excite yourself out of waking up, there's where it takes practice. After that (from what I understand) you'll be very close to the LD!

I have pretty much the same thing when I actually try. Good luck, though, I've never made it past that either. By the way, is your avatar from that chainsaw video on Youtube?
