      Having trouble

Alright well this is my first post here, and I hope someone can give me some good advice.

The past week I've been trying a lot of different techniques to ld, the closest I've been is last night while doing the FILD tech. I knew I was still awake but I think my body was going into sp. At one point a wave just sort of hit me, my body started tingling in random spots, it felt like objects were being dropped onto me, and I could hear strange noises that you normally wouldn't hear in my house. All this time I knew I was still awake because I could hear my fan clicking and the clock upstairs ringing. My question is, where do I go from here?

      yes, you were very close!

when i get to this point (post sp, vibrations/auditory hallucinations) i watch the blotchy movements and patterns behind my eyelids until they remotely resemble something i recognize, and then i try to convince myself that it is something i recognize and i'll quickly get 'pulled through' into a dream featuring whatever i thought i saw.

once you get it to work, you'll kick yourself for having been so close - haha

lol I knew I had to be close, I did exactly that too! I started trying to visualize my room, different people, and different places, pretty much anything! I never saw what I tried to imaging though

Oh and I forgot to say, my eyes started moving/shaking uncontrollably also. They were trembeling and doing all sorts of weird stuff. Is this REM?

i have a horrible visual imagination in the waking world, when i wild i usually have to wait for something that seems vaguely familiar rather than trying to build my own dream from scratch.

at least you are familiar with the process now, so next time you'll be able to tell how close you really are! good luck
