Personal Plan to attain an LD

Okay, so I've been here a day or so and picked up a lot of stuff that I hope to put to good use. I've sort of developed a plan I mean to stick by and try through.

At ~9:55 - 10:00 pm I will brush my teeth and strip down to boxers (sexy, right?).
From 10:00 to 11:00 pm I will be reading a book (Fires of Heaven, if you're curious) while I listen to ninja9578's "Subliminal Lucid 3.0
From 11:00 pm and onward, until I fall asleep, I will be staying as still as I possibly can. The occasional itch will probably disturb me, but not much I hope. I will be using autosuggestion with the sentence "Do a reality check". Also every time I exhale I will repeat, "I am dreaming".
Chances are I will repeat the former on an inhale and the latter on each exhale (does this seem okay, or is it too much?)
An hour into sleep I will start a EILD mp3 to try to initiate a lucid dream. I'm going to use the Lucid_3.3 for a bit.
I will wake up at 5:00 am (With my computer and a favorite song if I can, or else I'll use my alarm).
I will shower, and get ready for school in general.
I will go back to bed at ~5:25 - 5:35, which is a time up of approx. 30 minutes.

5:30 - 6:50, this is when I will try to VILD. I have a scene to use and hopefully I'll be tired enough for it to work. If not, I'll have to think of something to make me tired (any ideas, anyone?). If I can't focus enough to VILD, I may just try a WILD, and if I can't do that, I'll Autosuggest and repeat what I stated previously.

If the V/WILD doesn't work (tiredness is too much). I'm going to adjust times. First I plan on getting up at 4:00 instead, and trying the same thing. If that fails, I'll do 4:30 and just gauge how tired I am for each wakeup time.

Is there anything that is a big no-no, or something I should add in to help?

I might have to steal this from you...

But I might have to change times. (For me, of course)

It looks great to me. Stick with it for a while and see how it goes. I want results!!

Thanks for the input, I'm really excited to try this and see how it goes!
I'll post results, probably tommorow afternoon, when I get home from school.

Do you wanna give some examples instead of just making a useless comment?

I think there's a lot of different ideas in there and hopefully at least one of them will work out for you. Be sure to result back with results and if you think the various things helped!

Dude why do you have to spam every topic with crap, if you want to raise your post-count please do it with actually helping people.

Another example is at my topic (half-awake). Just stop being a prick.

The EILD doesn't work for me If I play the music I dunno what happens, but I can't remember any of the dream at all.
When I just can't remember the dream for no reason, I atleast remember little bits of the dream or just the feeling, but when I listen to music I don't remember anything.
But it might work for you though
And I think that it's just a little bit too much - maybe you should listen one the "subliminal Lucid 3.0" one night, EILD at a different night and the autosuggestion another night. 'cause I think if you do all that in one night your mind will get confussed and in a dream you'll say something like: "I will remember to dream"

Ha lol so I went through with it all as planned, and it all went to hell =]]

      A few ideas on this...
      1. Reading and listening to a subliminal message was too hard. I think I missed too much of what I needed to consiously hear for my subliminal mind to sort through it.
      2. The EILD Timer didn't go off *_*, so I'm going to try that again and make sure it works.
      3. My WBTB times are too far off. I get up totally refreshed and have no need to sleep. I can only sleep by forcing myself which makes V/WILDing way too difficult. My plan is to get up at 4:30 tomorrow and trying again.

Ivi mentioned my brain getting confused with all the stuff I was trying to do. I thought about that but decided to try anyways.

Also a strange occurance...I woke up at ~2:30 for no apparent reason. No sounds, or lights. My only thought was discomfort from the headphones made me wake up. Another weird thing was that I could hardly remember my dreams, which I usually have no problem with. If it happens anymore, I'm going to autosuggest myself into waking up after each one of them and writing them down.

So my new plan is subliminal message and hour before bed (10-11), autosuggestion from then on. I think I'll stick with, "Do a reality check" unless anyone has any really good phrases that have worked for them.

As for the WBTB, waking at 4:30, back in bed by 5...I may be tired enough for it to work. Also ninja made an interesting post about sexual distractions, and I may have to take his advice into consideration. I guess I'll see how tired I am, lol.

Thanks again for another useless post, Little.

Anyways, I came to mention I'm going to use a different method to WILD. I'm swapping VILD with something I just found called, "Tricking your body into falling asleep with your mind still awake". It's abreviated like "mind awake-body asleep".

I've read many, many posts about people who've had success with this method. I thought I would give it a try.

Also at 10:00 before I start the subliminal message mp3, I'm going to make some eggs (over medium. Yum!). They contain vitamins B5, B12, Tryptopan, and Choline. All of which are somewhat beneficial to dreams recall or LD.

I could be wrong, but I think the reason you couldn't remember any dreams when you woke up at about 2:30 in the morning is you hadn't had many. This happened to me the other day when I woke up at 5, didn't remember anything, woke up again at 7:30 and remembered two dreams. I could be wrong, I never really understood the REM thing.

LittleBuddy, please stop trolling this and other threads. You're not clever, no-one appreciates it, and overall it's just annoying.

Hmm, that makes sense, Blargh. I woke up today at ... well. Sometime between 3 and 5 o'clock and I could remember them fine. So REM cycles could be the culprit.

Anyways...Reports! I'm a little pissed off about last night, but I'm also quite pleased. What basically happend was that (dreaming) I was driving and I looked at my speedomter/tachometer and noticed they were gone and replaced by what looked like a broken GPS. So I thought, "wtf...I might be dreaming". So get this. I pull over, do the close-one-eye-and-try-to-see-your-nose thing, and I see it. And just for backup, I try reading a sign. No change at all. So two reality checks that...failed? Or worked...? Whatever the terminalogy, I thought I was awake, which I wasn't. Fuck.

The good news: I DID an RC!
However I don't know if it was a result of the autosuggestion/eggs/EILD/ or just a random thought, maybe a passive dreamsign I noticed subconciously or supersubconsiously and just decided, "RC NOW!". So I'm going to try to reproduce the RC tonight. Maybe it will actually work for me, and I can get an LD.

Another note. I woke up sometime in the night, again! As I mentioned above. It may have been my alarm going off and getting me up, which I ignored *_*. And went back to sleep.
I ended up getting up at 5, and then sleeping from 5:30 until 7. I can't really remember that much about this morning though...maybe I should try 4:30. yeah...I will.

Oh! P.S. I think I found a pretty constant dreamsign now. I'm going to see what I dream tonight. Depending on what happens, I may have a very reliable dreamsign from now on.

That's too bad. When I had my first LD I did an RC (palm-poke method) after spontaneously realizing that I was dreaming. It failed as it did in yours, but I still knew I was dreaming anyways.

It irritates me greatly when I miss really good opportunities to become lucid. Not too long ago I saw a copy of LaBerge's ETWOLD in a dream and didn't make the connection.

Heh yeah. And another funny story here...My EILD was set for 12:10 PM. That's right. PM. Not AM. So I justed fixed that...and hopefully I'll have better luck tonight. Ugh.

Also about last night...I keep waking up before my alarm goes off and it's really pissing me off. I think I'm just going to wake up at 5 on weekdays and on weeknights, I'm going to set my alarm for three or so hours after I go to sleep so I can try to DEILD or WILD.

(Sorry, I couldn't find the edit option for my last post *_*)

      Update:
I've decided to ditch the subliminal and EILD because they just annoy the hell out of me so far, and I'm fucking sick of trying to deal with them. They basically wake me up and never help me RC.

So anyways...I'm taking Flintstone's vitamins everynight before I go to bed. They have 38mg of Coline, and 100% of the daily value for B6 and B12.

I'm going to start trying ninja's rhythm technique, along with autosuggestion. I'm usually really good (2 for 2, so far) at catching false awakenings, so it will be interesting.
