      I need Opinions

Ok guys so i am a very young lucid dreamer and ive only attempted once.

      So i need opinions

Should I lucid dream? Im asking because im worried that my lucid dream will turn into a nightmare. Plus im also worried that this lucid dreaming will interrupt my sleep and i hate it when im tired in the morning. So should I start to attempt lucid every night.

I also need tips on how to not think about nightmares and lucid nightmares.

Oh and also tell me how the experience was in ur lucid dreams.

      YES! Yes you should!

If you are aware of your dream and you are in control you will not have a nightmare unless you want it to be so.

It shouldn't interrupt your sleep, because what you're doing is dreaming. You dream every night and it never interrupts your sleep. (Unless your dream's a nightmare which wakes me up every time.)

Trust me, any chance you have at attempting a lucid dream, take it!

All the lucid dreams I have had so far were amazing! You can check out my first lucid dream in my dream journal.

      Happy Lucids!

You will most likely never have nightmares in lucid dreams. The reason being you are aware that your environment is just a dream. Dreams are just thoughts, remind yourself that thoughts cannot hurt anything, and you are in control of them. Your nightmare should instantly turn into a regular peaceful dream.

Lucid dreaming won't make you any more tired than you usually are when waking up, you go into REM about 4 times a night, being aware of it shouldn't make a difference.

Don't worry about nightmare's in LDs. If you are lucid, and something bad starts to happen, just remember that you have complete control and it's all in your head. When you become lucid, you probably won't be thinking about nightmares. If you have goals for your dreams (I have a huge list in my DJ if you need some ideas) your mind will be on those as soon as you realize you're dreaming.

I have a few lucid dreams in my dream journal if you want to read any examples.

I agree that you should definately give LD's a chance. If you suffer from nightmares it might be a good chance for you to explore your fears and overcome them.

I also agree that you won't loose sleep. You'll only loose sleep if you become overly anxious about becoming lucid. I've found lucid dreaming to be an exercise in overall awareness both when awake and asleep and this takes time. So patience and good luck
