      summoning people in dreams

      I'm having a hard time summoning people in my dreams. There's this girl i want to summond and this morning i tried, here's what i did. I thought of her name and pointed and pictured her in my mind but it didn't work. And also do you have to picture the person in your mind in order for them to appear in your dream?
