I've been struggling with WILDS too. |

So last night I tried to WILD. I went to sleep at midnight and woke up at around 6 am, got up, went to the bathroom and then to the kitchen to get something to drink. After like 10 minutes I went back to bed, started to relax certain points of my body and began couting my breaths. After a while my body began to feel really heavy, it felt so heavy that it was almost painful (i don't know if this has happened to anyone else), well, my problem is that I cannot get passed that point. This happens to me everytime I try to WILD. Last night I spent almost 30 minutes counting my breaths, feeling heavy and waiting for something else to happen until I just gave up. What am I doing wrong? What should I do once my body starts feeling heavy....should I just keep waiting? |

Never wait for results, simply be a expectator during the oniric process. Wild it´s a two sides game, you must stay conscious(minimal possible) but you can´t fall asleep(really? |

since June 08 DILD:53| WILD:55
when you get to that point where you feel extremely heavy imagine just sinking through your bed and falling. just keep falling and let your hypnogogic imagery take you away. don't focus on it too much... more or less go with it and be halfway sleeping in a way but halfway conscious in a way. you can't let your mind be too active and conscious or it won't work. |

you just have to wade through that because that is just your body going into sp....your almost there.. |

My method is to stare into the blackness. I let my mind wander into whatever it will, and as soon as I start feeling REALLY tired I start to focus on the swirling black shapes. Really, it isn't blackness, and there are all kinds of cool colors and faces and stuff swirling around (go ahead, close your eyes now and try to tell me its all just black!). I usually feel some deep, heavy pull at this point, telling me I'm getting close to the dream world, and I will either get excited and pull back to reality or keep relaxed and fall into the dream. |

This is good advice I think. I need to focus more on shutting my thoughts down as much as possible. |
