      i neeeeed nightmares!

Ok peps, this might seem crazy but i want some nightmares,
i haven't had some for years! my last NM was when i was like 8 years old...

and i think that if i have nightmares i can use it to become lucid in the dreams.

although it has to be quite scary or something, because when i've had dreams that have started to look like nightmares i automatically makes it go away or something,

so if you have something that can help me, respooond!

p.s. testing WBTB, sill write about it tomorrow

movies i got of a site that sould do it or you could just watch barny and friends

      Alien (1979)

      Alien (1979)
"In space, no one can hear you scream..." But that didn't stop audiences shrieking at this superior sci-fi monster mash. Tapping into primeval fears of impregnation, infection and rape, director Ridley Scott holds us in a vice-like grip from the moment his weirdly phallic ET makes his bloody entrance through John Hurt's stomach lining. Three sequels followed, with another - Alien Vs Predator - to come later this year.

      The Blair Witch Project (1999)

      The Blair Witch Project (1999)
If you go into the woods today, you're in for a big surprise. Despite having no money, stars or gore, this startlingly effective lo-fi horror became a massive cult hit, scaring punters silly with a canny blend of menace, suggestion and paranoia. Three student film-makers researching the legend of the "Blair Witch" get lost in the forest in a mock-documentary so authentic many thought it was the real deal.

      Carrie (1976)

      Carrie (1976)
Adolescent angst and paranormal powers make a deadly cocktail in Brian De Palma's adaptation of Stephen King's novel, which despite being much imitated still has the power to shock. Sissy Spacek is heartbreaking as the cloistered heroine whose high school prom becomes a nightmare, while Piper Laurie freezes the blood as her religious maniac of a mother. Look out too for a young John Travolta as one of Carrie's tormentors.

      The Exorcist (1973)

      The Exorcist (1973)
"The devil hath power to assume a pleasing shape," said Hamlet. So it proves in this all-time horror classic, with virginal Linda Blair becoming a levitating, head-spinning demon with a talent for vomiting pea-soup and putting a crucifix where the sun doesn't shine. Outlawed by the British Board of Film Classification for many years, the recent reissue proved time had not dulled its impact or its genuine capacity to unsettle the viewer.

      Halloween (1978)

      Halloween (1978)
Shot in 21 days for just $300,000, John Carpenter's relentless slasher spawned a string of sequels and a slew of imitations. The original is still the best though, with Jamie Lee Curtis becoming the ultimate "scream queen" as the babysitter in peril from masked maniac Michael Myers. The mask - based, incidentally, on the face of William Shatner - became a genre staple, from Freddy Kreuger's pizza face to Jason Voorhees' hockey grill

      Psycho (1960)

      Psycho (1960)
An entire generation of women were put off showers for life by Alfred Hitchcock's grim horror yarn, which introduced a new level of violence to the screen by slicing and dicing a naked Janet Leigh halfway through the movie. (The blood, by the way, was chocolate sauce.) But there are many more scares in store thanks to Anthony Perkins' Norman Bates (it's always the quiet ones!) and his unseen mother's unfortunate habit of turning his motel into a mortuary.

      Ring (1998)

      Ring (1998)
Not the glossy Hollywood remake but the nerve-jangling Japanese original, a masterly exercise in mounting dread from director Hideo Nakata that will make you think twice the next time you pop down to your friendly local video store. A journalist investigates a deadly videotape with the power to kill anyone who watches it in seven days, knowing she and her son will become its next victims if she doesn't unlock its secret. Spooky.

      Scream (1996)

      Scream (1996)
Kudos to horror maestro Wes Craven, who brilliantly revived the genre with a tongue-in-cheek romp which mixes black humour with authentic scares. A masked lunatic hacks his way through the usual line-up of brainless teens, whose only hopes of survival depend on learning lessons from the slasher pictures of the past. "Do you like scary movies?" asks the killer. On this evidence, the answer would have to be yes.

      The Shining (1980)

      The Shining (1980)
"Here's Johnny!" Jack Nicholson gives perhaps his most unhinged performance to date as the writer-cum-janitor driven slowly round the bend by the haunted hotel he shares with wife Shelley Duvall, psychic son Danny Lloyd and the ghosts of its former residents. Stanley Kubrick turns Stephen King's bestseller into a disconcerting saga of supernatural strangeness that ultimately explodes in an orgy of axe-wielding terror.

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
"A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti..." Who else but Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter, the ultimate psycho gourmet? Jonathan Demme's multi-Oscar winner might be hijacked by Anthony Hopkins' remarkable performance, but it's still a highly polished chill ride that gives an all-too-plausible insight into the mind of a serial killer. Hopkins would return as Lecter in Hannibal and Red Dragon.

      well there are some

here are some that gave me nightmares:

      Jeepers Creepers
Siblings Darryl (Justin Long) and Trish (Gina Phillips) are on their way home from their freshman year at college. But the trip starts turning dangerous as they see a man in a trench coat and a hat that covers his face dumping something down a pipe. They recognize him as the man who tried to run them off the road earlier and go see what he dumped after he leaves, but what they discover is too terrifying for them. They get help from a crazy woman who has too many cats (Eileen Brennan) and a psychic (Patricia Belcher) before they realize what's been chasing them is an ancient demon known as the Creeper (Jonathan Breck) who eats people to regenerate his parts and he sees something in one of them that he wants for his snack.

      Hollow man

The Hollow Man features Kevin Bacon in the title role as Sebastian Caine, a scientist who discovers a formula for invisibility. After an experiment makes him slowly disappear, Cane begins to go insane, and soon threatens the lives of his fellow researchers. Elizabeth Shue and Josh Brolin star as the targets of Cane's mayhem, along with William Devane, Kim Dickens and Mary Jo Randle

this next one that others say scare them but i liked it (i have water bottles in my room now though its a subconciouse (sp) thing)

      signs

After the death of his wife in a freak accident, Reverend Graham Hess questions his faith and even leaves the church. Six months later, he discovers a gigantic crop circle in his yard. Similar events happen all over the world. Graham's children think it's aliens, his brother thinks it's pranksters, and Graham doesn't know what to think. However, as more and more strange events occur, he realizes something big is coming, and it's probably not going to be friendly

hope these will help but watch them at night alone for best results before bed.

Here are some more nightmare provoking movies:

Cannibal Holocaust: The precrusor to Blair Witch, except that this movie is actually good. This film crew goes into the Amazon to film cannibals, provokes extreme violence, and are systematically killed and eaten. Features immeasurable ammounts of realistic gore, and two real-life animal deaths.

Men Behind the Sun: This movie is about the WWII Japanese chemical warfare group Unit 731. In other words, people are maimed and killed in various inhumane ways. Be sure to watch for the depressure chamber scene.

Donnie Darko, pretty scary, made me dream about the demonic bunny in it.

Its basically about a confused, schitzophrenic high school student who has visions of the end of the world. He hallucenates a demonic rabbit named Frank most of the movie, and it turns into a chain of events. Its a really amazing film, kinda disturbing though as it doensnt have the best of endings, although its not entirely bad.

Well, I've have several nightmares a week on average, but I only rarely become lucid from them. Normally for me it happens spontaneously, usually the last dream of the night. If anything, I find I'm less lucid in nightmares, not more. And the heck with scary movies--you want to have a nightmare, read a Stephen King novel before going to sleep. His words and your own mind are more likely to scare you in a way that causes nightmares than a movie.

      Nightmare...

      Hi!
Actually, about one week ago, I had this strange nightmare. I walked in my old school and there were scary faces and monsters and stuff there. I was kind of aware that I dreamt, but not much. The thing was that I wasn't scared at all. I just made fun of the monsters. One creature teared of my skin on my face with his claws. This didn't feel scary at all and it didn't hurt or anything. I just continued in the corridor at school. Things were getting darker and darker. I began to hear a strange noise in my mind. As I walked on in the corridor I began to spin around more and more and the noises were getting louder and louder so I decided to wake up (at this point it was really scary). It wasn't a normal wake up and it wasn't a normal nightmare. Maybe a nightmare can be used as a "platform" for a lucid dream? Well, what do I know? I'm a very newbie here at DV! Take care!
I'm VERY tired so sorry for my bad english/language!
