and it was kind of weird but although i didn't have a dream about being in the class, let alone being at school, i had a lucid dream that night. note that when i realized i was dreaming, it was because i was bout to have the same dream all over again but i caught it.

now i have a hard time convincing myself. i ask myself "am i dreaming" and it feels like i'm just saying it. i think i just need to be more serious with my reality checks. any more tips? anyone... anyone...?
My advice to you is to stop this way of thinking. It is damaging to your perception, keep this up and you'll find yourself confused and unable to think properly because a large part of your attention will be "you are dreaming and what would you do now that you are dreaming" instead of being in reality. It has happened to me and I had a hard time undoing what I did, and I had no LDs from it either.

lol oh sh*t. cus LaBerge states in his book (which was published in like 1985), that someone said that you can question your conciousness or reality atleast 5-10x a day for 3 weeks

"He advises the would-be lucid dreamer to 'try to remember for three weeks continuously that whatsoever you are doing is just a dream'"
      (132)

"We most often dream about familiar activities from our waking life, and if we never ask whether we are dreaming or not while awake, why should we do so while dreaming" (132-133)

I can see why you guys are against this. Thanks for letting me know.
