      WILD technique problem

Ive tried the WILD method several times...every time i start to get to the paralyzed stage, I get this urge to wake myself up and move a part of my body...I try to ignore it but I always end up moving a part of my body...what should I do?

I agree. If you feel like you can't ignore it any longer, just ignore it.

      You need to ignore it.
This urge to move is your body testing you mind to see if you really are asleep.

If you move, you delay SP and Dreaming.

Intense itching is the same thing. If you itch, you've blown it.

I've noticed if I'm patient enough to reach the SP stage, I find I can't move even if I try and the vibrations are so intense it's all I focus on. Try shifting your awareness elsewhere if you feel the urge to move.

Hmmm... I tend to find if I have the urge to move, I do. It doesn't affect my chances of hitting SP and then WILD, but it depends on the movement. If you're changing position in bed, then yes this should be unavoided, but if it is a simple slight movement of your arm for example, then there is nothing wrong with doing this, just don't think about it too much or shift focus from relaxing.

The important thing here is if you do shift from relaxation you're never going to WILD and if the urge to move is that great, you're never going to WILD. So seems a catch 22 situation but I personally opt to move, whilst keeping in the relaxed state I'm in
