      Could this be considered Lucidity?

Okay. Usually what I do when I am going to bed is I lay their in bed for a long while making up scenerios in my head and playing them out. Usually I am floating in and out of conciousness but I would call it daydreaming. I never lay in bed and think about sleeping or keep my mind blank. However, when I go to sleep I know that I dream something similiar to what I have daydreamed. I was just wondering if it could be considered Lucidity? Or if I could further enter a state of Lucidity with this? And yes, I have become lucid many times before and I have a very good memory for dream recall. But I can only recall one or maybe two dreams a night. Any feedback would be awesome. Thank you.

First of all welcome to the forum redderthanever

I don't think those 'daydream' type dreams would be considered as lucid as you didn't say that you had control in them. I can't remember what the technique is called, but it's basically inducing the type of dreams you want, or the scenario/place you wish to be in. This sounds similar to what your saying about your dreams being the same as your daydreams.
hopefully another member here can help you out with that, i have to try and remember that technique, but in the meantime enjoy the forum.

hmm the definition of an LD is that you're aware of that you are dreaming while you are dreaming, not neccesarily taking controll or doing magical things.

      Well...

When I do "daydream" I am in control and when I slip in and out of conciousness one of the things I ALWAYS do in my dreaming is become an animal at will, or change my appearance at will. And sometimes that carries over in my dreams but when I change its not my "dreamself" that wants it to happen or picks what I am, its me.

On a side note, does anybody know where I can find dream interpretations for being an animal? Cause I often dream I am an animal, like whales and lions and such. Thanks.
