      First LD!!

it actually came unexpected in that school has started and i haven't had much time (sleeping that is) to really get a habit of good dream recall.

But two days ago or so it just happened!! i was dreaming that i was following a character that had to switch to another reality in order to save the world (or something like that). and then suddenly i was in the his body standing in the room he was in.

i was shocked at how real it seemed, it felt like i was standing in my room or a living room. i remember touching the table just to see the textures and such. I tried doing something (don't remember what) and did the spinning trick to change locations (ironically flying didn't occur to me). it worked, but i lost lucidity quickly and the dream moved on.

now i have a few questions. i'm almost positive that is was a LD, but when i woke and tried to remember the exact feeling of standing a reality-like place in my head...well it didn't work as well. I remember saying to myself, 'wow, this is so real', but when i try to remember i only see that fuzzy 'dream image' of a normal dream.

is this true for you those who've had multiple LD's?

thanks and sorry for the long post.

Actually yes. In some of my first lucids I vividly remember the realistic textures, but later all that is left is "fuzzy" memory.

My first few DILDs were all fuzzy. It goes away, no worries. Actually, I think that I made a tutorial on dream clarity once.... I'lll find it for you if you like.

If you find yourself in another LD anytime soon, try rubbing your hands together. It does wounders.

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

      Congrats!

      Gratz!
Sounds like an interesting dream =D you should start a dream journal

ive yet to get lucid using the "standard" technique, all the times ive gotten lucid before are just on "knowing" that im dreaming.

I heard somewhere that eating peanut butter before bed helps with vividness, maybe itle help you remember =D

but yeah, like others have said, it will probably pass in time
