Doing RC's reduce the chance of becoming Lucid

Normally, I have a dream where I walk into a bathroom, either that exists during waking life or that my subconscious creates for me within the dreamscape. Now, I usually have these dreams at least 5 times per week. It happens so consistently that it has become my dream sign. So, I figure, "I should do a reality check every time I walk into a bathroom." So what happens? After doing this dream-sign reality check for three weeks, I have not had a single "bathroom scene" in any dream since beginning to do the rc's. What gives? Does this happen frequently to you guys?

How ironic. I'd try autosuggestion. I hate it when you finally get a way to take advantage of what you have, and just as you do, it goes away. Or vice versa. I once needed to know my homework from school, and couldn't find my log. I called like 6 people before I finally got someone to pick up. After 20 minutes wasted I get it, and, waddayaknow, it turns up on my couch.

Try drinking a lot of water before going to sleep. You will probably start having bathroom dreams again.

I normally have them when I really need to piss. Then, there is always something odd going on in the bathroom that should clue me in that I'm dreaming, but it's yet to happen.
